I find good housekeeping an enjoyable read, I like that it is a little conservative, there are a lot of magazines that are modern and career oriented. It also has features on interesting subjects, based on stories from ordinary people, such as teenage bingedrinking. I only think its a pity I cant buy some of the nice stuff that is displayed. I also dont like the medicine adds. mildred on 13-08-2011

Classic magazine, with plenty of tips, recipes, a good health section and interviews. The magazine is a bit conservative though, sometimes the choice of subjects covered in the magazine can be a bit "safe". Also, it seems like the magazine is still mostly oriented at housewives/soccermoms, I wish it would be a little more modern and offer more careeradvice. All in all a good magazine covering a range of different areas in life, I guess it can best be compared to the Dutch magazines Libelle and Margriet. Esmee on 22-07-2011

Compact, straightforward and useful, but it would be perfect if there is also a gardening section. The delivery is a little late but I don't have problem with it. noraishah on 19-11-2004

My opinion of Good Housekeeping may be a bit biased as I have been an avid reader of this magazine for the past 40 years. I have always found it up to date and full of the most useful information with things to make and do for the modern housewife who still considers homemaking a worthwhile profession. Ina on 19-11-2004
